A MAN will stand trial next month after he was caught in a car that had been stolen and driven along the M4.

Johnny Farley of The Bungalows denies the charge dating from November 18 of last year and entered a not guilty plea to the charge when he came before magistrates sitting in Swindon.

It is alleged that the 19-year-old was caught as a passenger in a stolen Ford Fiesta that was being driven dangerously on both the M4 and M48.

He also faces a separate charge of failing to attend Gablecross Police Station on February 5 having been released on bail by police officers which he has pleaded guilty to.

A third charge of failing to pay court fines of £315 imposed on September 14 of last year will also be put to him when he next appears in court.

The magistrates released him on unconditional bail until his next appearance at Chippenham Magistrates' Court on June 27.
