A MAN who is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a little girl is to face trial by judge and jury.
Barry Read, 62, is said to have molested the girl, when she was between the ages of four and six, a decade ago.
And Read is also said to have engaged in sexual activity in the presence of the child between 2004 and 2006.
Read, of Bremhill Close, Penhill, pleaded not guilty to four counts of sexual assault of a child and one of engaging in sexual activity in her presence.
Judge Peter Blair QC, sitting at Swindon Crown Court, adjourned the case to Monday, October 24, and released him on conditional bail.
