A MAN found with a smoke grenade at the County Ground when Swindon Town FC was playing against Bury on April 16 has been was fined.
Jason Mumford, 27, of Windrush, Highworth, admitted the charge.
But Swindon magistrates decided not to impose a football banning order after hearing Mumford was not trying to incite violence and had acted stupidly.
He was fined £150, told to pay £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
