TWO Portuguese-speaking men who are accused of trying to rob a woman are to face trial by judge and jury.
Tiago Da Costa, 34, and Cristiano Quizado Reami, 36, pleaded not guilty to the charge when they appeared before a judge at Swindon Crown Court.
And the older of the two also denied two other alleged assaults and having a knife in Atworth Close on Sunday, April 3.
Quizado Reami denied attempting to wound a man with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, causing actual bodily harm and having an offensive weapon.
Judge Peter Blair QC adjourned the case to Tuesday, September 27, and released Quizado Reami, of Clanfield Road, and Da Costa, of Station Road, on bail.
