A TEENAGER threatened a boy before making off with his red BMX bike.

The boy was not hurt during the robbery, which took place in Liden Park on Sunday, August 14.

Police say the offender is described as white, aged 13-14, tall, with a pale face, dark brown hair and wearing a grey hooded top.

Thieves made off with a bicycle that had been locked up on College Street next to the Body Shop on Tuesday. The incident happened between 5.40pm and 5.50pm, and when the owner returned they found the bike, a black Giant SCR 2.0, had gone.
