CHILDREN at Hop Skip & Jump have received a brand new play area thanks to a local partnership.

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon donated the £10,000 piece of play equipment before working alongside local tradesman Mr Nick Thomas, from Equinox Building Solutions, to install the new play area.

On Tuesday, representatives from McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon joined staff and volunteers from the charity to pick up their paint brushes and put the finishing touches to the centre’s new children’s play area.

Clarissa Legg, the centre supervisor of Hop Skip & Jump Swindon, said: “The park will be a great help to all of the children who use our services as it creates a safe, stimulating environment, where they can play. With a new area to run around, climb and explore, they are all very much looking forward to playing on all of the exciting equipment.

"We are extremely grateful to the Swindon Designer Outlet for their donation which will bring many hours of fun to the children we support.”
