A FLASHER has been spotted in Sevenfields this morning. (OCT 31)

Shortly before 8.40am, a naked man was seen in the area. A mother took to social media to say the man had jumped out in front of her daughter.

Wiltshire Police attended the scene and are investigating the incident.

The man is described as white, approximately 6ft tall, aged 30 years old, with brown hair.

Det Con Adam Leakey said:  "I would like to reassure the public we are doing everything we can to investigate and find these perpetrators.

"We are putting on additional patrols this week in this area and would urge anyone with any information in relation to this or similar incidents like these to come forward and report it immediately.

"Any information will be treated in the strictest confidence.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101.

This is the latest in a spate of flashing incidents in the area in the past five months.

On October 23 a masked naked man  in bushes frightened three teenage girls as they walked home along a footpath which runs between Sevenfields and Greenmeadow.

The girls ran home shaken but not hurt.

The man is described as white, in his late 20s or early 30s and was only wearing a red, white and blue striped mask which covered the whole of his head with only holes for his eyes.

In September a group of teenage girls were confronted by a flasher, who exposed himself on Sevenfields recreation ground as they walked from the Penhill area to Kennett Avenue.

In July a teenage jogger encountered a man wearing nothing but a cycle helmet, who emerged from bushes along a cycle track in Sevenfields with a pushbike.

And in May a pervert was seen naked in the wooded area along the Sevenfields footpath with a scarf around his face.
