A JUDGE has adjourned the case of a man from Swindon who is accused of sexually abusing a vulnerable woman.
Andy Newman faces two counts of sexual activity with a woman who was unable to refuse because of a mental disorder.
The 47-year-old, of Swindon Road, Stratton St Margaret, is also alleged to have caused or incited a person with a mental disorder to engage in sexual activity.
He is finally accused of possessing indecent images of children and having extreme pornography involving people and animals.
No charges have formally been put to Newman and he has yet to enter any pleas to the allegations.
Judge Tim Mousley QC, sitting at Swindon Crown Court, adjourned the case to Friday, December 16, and released him on conditional bail.
He must not have contact with the complainant. He is also required to report to Gablecross police station and he has been ordered not do any care work with adults or children.
