A JUDGE has issued a warrant for the arrest of a man who was due to face sentence for assault with intent to rob.
Robert Lawrence, 49, admitted carrying out the attack in the Manchester Road area of Swindon on Saturday, October 22, last year.
Lawrence also pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm and possessing a catapult at an earlier hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Although Lawrence, formerly of Hartford Close, turned up for the hearing he left before the case was called.
Recorder Robert Pawson issued a warrant without bail to bring him before the court.
