ANN Summers has recalled a brand of vibrator over concerns that its wires could become exposed over a prolonged period of use.
The store is displaying notices in shop windows advising customers with a Black Power Wand to return it "due to a very small number of isolated reports".
The wand has an item code of 74701 and all batch codes are included in the recall.
The retailer said in a statement: "The quality and safety of all our products is extremely important to us.
"The Black Power Wand complies with all necessary CE safety testing standards and regulations, but we have made a voluntary decision to recall the product due to a very small number of isolated reports that the wires in the cord have become exposed at the base of the product over a prolonged period of use."
"This has been communicated across all of our 134 stores and all customers who have purchased a Black Power Wand, will be offered a full refund in-store and online.
