Police are investigating two incidents in Southampton Street
POLICE are investigating a burglary and an attempted break-in on the same street in the space of an hour.
The incidents happened between 8pm and 9pm on January 28 in Southampton Street.
Fishing equipment was stolen from one of the homes.
Around the same time a group of youth were spotted by a member of the public handing items to other unknown suspects over the wall of the car park next to the Merlin Pub.
A black Vauxhall Zafira was then seen driving out of the car park and heading off towards York Road.
