THE woman pedestrian who died in the crash in Beechcroft Road, Stratton, last week has been named as Nina Maggs, 32.

Nina, who was an MS sufferer, lived at Beech Road, Pinehurst, with her husband Nick and their daughter.

The family have paid the following tribute to her: "Nina Angela Maggs, formally known as Telina Angela Henson, had a huge heart and enough love for everyone.

"Her family meant everything to her and she would do anything for anyone.

"When Nina got married she looked beautiful; when she gave birth to her daughter she glowed as it was the best day of her life. She was a loving, doting mother to her daughter who she cherished and adored.

"Nina inspired people to do more for themselves and wanted her daughter to be the best.

"Nina was such a warm and friendly person and made everyone smile.

"Although Nina suffered with MS, she overcame her illness and was a strong fighter, she was a pillar of strength for all around her - the strongest person we know.

"Nina was taken too soon at such a young age and will be missed by all of her family, especially her husband Nick and their daughter, her mother and step father Maureen and Keith and her brother and sisters Craig, Maxine and Vicky."

A police spokesman said: "The family wish to thank everyone for their support and kind words at this difficult time. The family wish to grieve in peace."
