A CRASH involving a car and a 57-year-old cyclist closed part of Drove Road.
South Western Ambulance Service sent a rapid response car to the scene, near the junction with Upham Road.
One passerby said: "There is a bike with a very badly buckled front wheel."
Thamesdown Transport says its service 17 was diverted from Groundwell Road via Magic Roundabout and Queens Drive in both directions because of the crash at about noon.
Services N1 and B1 were diverted via Victoria Hill, Devizes Road and Newport Street in both directions.
It is not thought that anyone was hurt and traffic was reported to be moving again by 12.30pm.
Wiltshire Police said they were not called to the incident.
