A SWINDON man has been charged with eight offences including robbery and causing grievous bodily harm following a string of incidents on Friday night.
Connor Gallagher, aged 22, from Stratton, is due to appear before the town’s magistrates today to face three counts of GBH, three of robbery and two of possessing an offensive weapon in public.
The charges are connected with four separate incidents which happened in the Nisa Store, Penhill, on Canal Walk and around Cambria Bridge Place and Park during the evening.
The officer leading the investigation, Det Sgt Mark Lewis wants anyone with information to contact Swindon CID on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555111.
