A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent this morning.
Officers were called to a domestic incident in Whitehead Street at around 6.50am today in which a man in his 40's sustained a wound to his hand.
He was taken to Great Western Hospital.
Police officers arrested a 42-year-old woman and quickly cordoned off the street.
An officer at the scene said that the cordon was "just a precaution for the time being."
He added that pedestrians should still be able to walk along the pavement but the two alleyways nearby are blocked off.
