EMMA Skinner has joined the expanding offices of Haines Watts Swindon as a senior accountant.

The 25-year-old, from Stratton, is a former student of The Commonweal School and secured her professional qualification with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in March this year, having passed her final exams in June 2015.

Emma said: “My last position was with a much smaller company so this is a fantastic opportunity for me to work within a larger team.

“I’ve been made to feel very welcome and look forward to being part of the local office of a national firm with the expertise it is able to provide.”

Mike Lloyd, managing partner of Haines Watts Swindon, said: “I am delighted to welcome Emma. I am confident she will be a great asset, to us and our clients.”

Emma, who lives with her partner Jenna, is a footballer who has represented Swindon Town Ladies and Swindon Spitfires until an injury to her knee two years ago.

Haines Watts Swindon is a firm of chartered accountants and business advisors based in Old Town.
