FLOWERS have been left at the site of a motorcycle crash that claimed the lives of two men yesterday.
The names of the deceased have not been released but there has been at outpouring of sympathy to their families across social media.
Residents living across from the scene of the crash spoke of their shock but stopped short of calling for changes to the road or its layout.
One man, who did not wish to be named, said that while it was a fast moving road, it didn't feel dangerous for drivers.
He said there was only one other crash that he could remember in the many years he had lived in the area.
Another resident pointed out that it was arguably more dangerous for pedestrians than motorists, with the absence of a pavement meaning people returning home have to risk walking in the carriageway during peak periods.
Wiltshire Police also renewed their appeal for witnesses on Thursday.
They continue to ask anyone with relevant footage or information to get in touch on 101.
