Firefighters were called to a bin fire on Marlborough Road.
ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: A ranger beat firefighters to a small bin fire on Marlborough Road.
A crew from Swindon Fire Station were heading to the scene, after receiving a call at 3.23 on Monday afternoon.
But they were stood down en route to the fire, after a passing ranger was able to extinguish the flames.
