POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary at a house in Whitworth Road.
The incident happened on Monday, August 1, between midday and 3.45pm.
A window at the house was smashed and a large quantity of cash was stolen.
The house is at the Moonrakers end of Whitworth Road.
PC Chris Hughes said: “While the offenders broke in through a back window where they were out of view from the busy main road, their actions would have been heard by people in the local area, including both residents and people passing through the area. It was also broad daylight when the incident occurred.
"We are carrying out a thorough investigation including house-to-house enquiries and we are hoping that the public can assist us in apprehending these individuals.”
