A LITTER of guinea pigs have finally been named.
The four guinea pigs arrived at Roves Farm, a popular family petting farm at Sevenhampton, near Highworth, in June.
The fluffy new arrivals came to the farm from Cheney Manor pet shop Paradise Pets.
On Facebook, Roves Farm offered a free farm ticket for each person who came up with a name that was eventually picked for each animal.
Now, staff at the farm have revealed the names that were chosen.
Going with a foodie-theme, the fluffy pigs have been christened: Cookie, Carrot, Custard and Cocoa.
All the names were suggested by children.
Pippa Burr, livestock manager at Roves Farm, said: “We quite liked having a foodie theme. It fits with some of our other activity.
“We quite often name them with names for treats.”
Pippa said that her favourite animal name on the farm was Noddy the Donkey.
“He’s coming up for a year old. We hand reared him. We just thought Noddy was a good name for him.”
