A COUNCIL has warned that Stanton Harcourt will not be able to cope with a proposed development of 40 homes and a shop.
David Bury and Jo Wilson want to build the properties on land at Butts Piece, off Main Road.
The applicant says the 'weight of evidence' lies with a decision to approve the plans, but the parish council believes the village does not have the infrastructure to cope.
A West Oxfordshire District Council planning committee will discuss the application we the council's Woodgreen offices at 2pm on Monday.
