Other tribute acts will be playing on Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm and on Sunday at 1pm. Visit the cafe's facebook page for more information.

Drag stars Miss Mattrice, Boogatti and Dion will be adding some glitz and glamour to Cricklade Town Hall in their 'Dream Girls' show on Saturday night at 7pm.

St Sampson’s Church is holding its annual concert on Saturday night from 6.30pm. Tickets cost £4 each, call 07896 025209 for more information.

The Cricklade Club's owner Talia Maddison was enthusiastic about the town's varied and vibrant restaurants, cafes and culture clubs.

She said: "On the high street, we have an amazing choice of food with a gastro pub, family-run Thai restaurant, curry houses, kebabs, four cafes and three pubs.

"We have a market on the last Friday of every month, a cinema club, a band, a railway, a historic society, a rugby club, and even a knitting circle.

"And, of course, there is the famous wet meadows with the snakeshead fritillary.

"No wonder Cricklade has now become the place to go to."
