Ibrahim Gediklioglu
A 26-year-old man has appeared before magistrates charged with kidnap and sexual assault.
Ibrahim Gediklioglu, of Woollaton Close, spoke only to confirm his name, age and address at Swindon Magistrates' Court this morning.
He faces two charges, one of unlawfully and by force or fraud taking away a woman against her will, contrary to common law, and one charge of sexual assaulting a woman.
The Grange Park man, who sat in court wearing a grey tracksuit, was represented by Basharat Ali of Aman Solicitors.
Gediklioglu was remanded in custody until November 10, when he will appear before Swindon Crown Court.
