A MAN has been jailed after pleading guilty to stealing scratch cards and driving while disqualified.
Lee Segelov, of Holbein Close, walked into McColls in Highworth on September 7 and stole three scratch cards.
Then on September 21, the 38-year-old walked into Costcutters/Texaco garage in Lyneham and selected some goods as well as four scratch cards.
He tried to pay with a bank card but it was declined - however, he left the shop with the scratch cards having not paid for them.
Segelov was also caught driving a Renault Clio in the village, on the same day, despite being banned in June 2017.
After being arrested and charged last week, he appeared before Swindon Magistrates Court on Saturday where he pleaded guilty to the thefts and driving without a licence and no insurance.
Magistrates sentenced him to a total of 12 weeks in prison.
