THE deadline to nominate a loved-one to receive a fabulous bedroom makeover is fast approaching.
Last month, Rushey Platt-based family firm J Carpets launched Operation Helping Hand, a scheme to bring Christmas cheer to one lucky person.
Developed by James Higgins, owner of J Carpets, the company is asking people to nominate someone who deserves a special gift this Christmas.
When all nominations are in, James and a small band of helpers will chose someone who will then have their bedroom renovated completely free of charge.
But people have to get their nominations in before Sunday, December 10.
James, 30, said: “We just want to help people out. It’s a busy time of year for us and we want to give something back to people.
“At this time of year, you realise how lucky you are, and we just want to make Christmas special for someone.”
