Kelly Goddard, 36, of Tulip Tree Court, pleaded guilty to three charges when she appeared before magistrates in Swindon last week.
She admitted going equipped to steal in September 2017, carrying a baton and a kitchen knife in public and failing to pay for petrol.
She was told to pay a £55 victim surcharge and made the subject of a community order requiring her to undergo treatment for drug addiction.
She was also told to pay compensation of £30.
