Man, 38, charged over Coral betting shop robbery
A MANCHESTER Road man will appear in court this morning charged with one count of robbery and two of burglary.
Michael Desmond King, 38, of Manchester Road, has also been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Police believe that he robbed Coral betting shop on Victoria Road on January 12.
He has also been charged with committing burglaries at Retrac Composites, Bramble Road, on January 4, and MTC Learning, Manchester Road, on January 1. In both cases, King is alleged to have stolen an unknown amount of cash.
King was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court this morning.
