A 30-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested by police on suspicion of firearms offences and possession of a Class A drug after armed officers stormed a block of flats earlier today.
Three TriForce vehicles, a police van, two dog units, two police cars and one unmarked car were at the scene at approximately 10.50am.
Officers entered a block of flats at Franklin House on Twickenham Close and emerged at around 11.30am with a suspect, who has been taken into custody for questioning.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "Searches have been conducted at the address and a number of weapons have been seized.
"Enquiries are ongoing at this time."
