CARS are being held on the M4 eastbound at Hungerford, after a collision involving a "number of cars".
The crash, which happened around three-and-a-half miles east of Membury Services, has created tailbacks stretching four miles along the M4 towards Swindon.
Highways England hope to clear the road by 9.30am, but are telling drivers to expect delays of up to an hour. Traffic conditions are expected to return to normal by 10.30am, Highways England said.
