THE Swindon Eco Fest is coming to Savernake Street Social Hall on World Earth Day, Sunday April 22, from 11am to 5pm.

The festival is free to attend and will feature a variety of talks, stalls, arts and crafts, storytelling sessions, and an eco-raffle all about celebrating wellbeing and nature.

The stalls will run from 11am to 4pm, with talks going on until 5pm.

Artists from the Stratton Art Group will display artwork based around the theme of wellbeing and nature, which will be available for purchase.

Twigs, Renew, Swindon Pulse, and Swindon Scrapstore will also be bringing along items to sell.

Food will be served from Our Farmhouse Kitchen’s food stall and a pop-up café run the Swindon Climate Action Network and the event’s organisers Eastcott Community Organisation.

Beer will be available to buy from the Old Town Brewery stall .

The brewery have also crafted a special Eco Fest beer.

Other stallholders setting up shop at the festival include Incredible Edible, Peatmoor Community Woodland Group, The Secret Garden, Swindon Climate Action Network, the Swindon Allotment and Leisure Garden Association (SALGA), Swindon Cycle Campaign, Swindon Recycling team, Swindon Warm & Safe, Westmill Sustainable Energy Trust (WeSET), Wiltshire Wildlife Trust Wellbeing Team, and Woodcraft Folk.
