COURT: Naomi Moore was banned from driving for a year after she admitted being over the legal alcohol limit when she was at the wheel of a Ford Fiesta in Southampton Street on February 23. Moore, 24, who lives in the same street, had a level of 42 microgrammes of alcohol in her breath when the limit is 35, Swindon magistrates heard. She was fined £240 with £85 court costs and £30 towards victim services on top.

COURT: A drink driver who was twice the alcohol limit when caught in Hilary Close, Swindon on February 24 without a licence or insurance, was banned from the roads for 19 months and fined £240 by the town's magistrates. Richard Smith, 31, of Ruskin Avenue, pleaded guilty to the charges and was told to pay prosecution costs of £85 along with a contribution of £30 to help fund victim services.

COURT: Drink driver Jasmin Taylor was more than twice the alcohol limit when she drove a Renault Clio in Westcott Place, Wootton Bassett Road and Great Western Way on February 25, Swindon Magistrates Court was told. Taylor, 19, of Whitbourne Avenue, Park North, admitted the allegation and was ordered to pay a total of £392 including a £277 fine. She was disqualified from driving for 17 months.
