A SWORD-wielding gang are said to have threatened a pair of Walcot teens.
The pair, aged 14 and 15, were walking near the Walcot Dome on Tuesday evening when they were threatened by a gang of young men.
Police said they have launched an investigation into the incident.
Officers believe that the gang were on bicycles and wearing dark hooded clothing.
A spokeswoman for Wiltshire Police said: "We received a report that two teenagers, aged 14 and 15, were threatened by a group of males near Walcot Dome on Tuesday at approximately 10pm.
"The group made threats to the pair and are believed to have been carrying a sword. Nobody was injured. Two of the suspects are described as white males, approximately 16 years of age, and six ft tall on adult mountain bikes. They were wearing dark clothing with their hoods up."
Officers are yet to make any arrests in connection with the incident. To report information to detectives, call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
