A CREATIVE Gala will be held at Lawn Community Centre next month to raise money for the Brighter Futures Radiotherapy Fund.
The event also aims to highlight creativity and wellbeing with a variety of displays and workshops on Saturday June 30 from 10am to 1pm.
Jacob Hi Ho will show off his juggling skills, Lorna Goodwin will host a Zumba session, Beverly Anderson of the Experimental Drawing Hub will lead a drawing workshop, Tony Hillier will be making magic with words, while Jaime Bullock will create quirky arts and crafts.
Outside the centre, Swindon Parks Ranger Tom Murawicki will take visitors on a four-mile walk in the Lawns Park, and a Swindon Health Walks volunteer will lead a shorter walk.
Organisers are looking for a volunteer to host a woolly crafts workshop, and any other local creatives who might want to get involved and contribute to the event in some way.
