FORECASTERS predict all-day sun tomorrow, as Swindon celebrates the Royal Wedding.

Temperatures will hit highs of 19C on Saturday afternoon. And the warm weather will continue into next week, with Swindon sweating in 21C heat by Monday.

Those heading to Windsor for the wedding should pack the sunscreen, forecasters said. Dan Harris, deputy chief meteorologist at the Met Office, said: “It looks like it will be dry with warm, sunny spells and light winds, although there are still some minor uncertainties over the precise amount of cloud we could see in the morning.

“It could well be a rather cool start to the day and early morning temperatures will be in the mid to high single figures.”

However, asthma sufferers have been warned to stay indoors over fears that stormy weather and a high pollen count could prompt so-called thunder fever. Sonia Munde of Asthma UK told The Sun: "Humid, stormy conditions break the pollen into much smaller particles, which are then inhaled more deeply into the lungs and can lead to life-threatening asthma attacks."

Swindon is currently expected to miss thunder storms forecast elsewhere in the country. However, the storms could yet move south.
