Peter Andre will headline the CivPop Music Festival at MOD Lyneham on Saturday July 21.

The star will be joined by a host of other acts including Baby-D, Urban Cookie Collective, Rozalla, Junnk, Halo, and Firing Blanks.

The audience will also be entertained by Lyneham Military Wives’ Choir.

The day-long festival lasts from 1pm to 11pm and will also include a funfair and food and drink stands.

All profits from the CivPop Festival will go to three charities: Julia’s House, SSAFA and the REME Charity.

Tickets cost £15 each for over-16s, £10 for five-to-16-year-olds, and £40 for a family ticket of two adults and two under-16 children.

Parking on site is free and there is a campsite near to the event entrance.

On the same site, the REME Museum will be running its annual fete, with plenty of fun and games for children.

The festival is being organised by members of the MOD Lyneham-based 8 Training Battalion REME, with performer/event management by CSE Events & Entertainment.

It follows last June’s Party in the Park at MOD Lyneham, which was held to mark the 75th anniversary of the Army’s Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

In 2018, the centenary year of the Royal Air Force – it is fitting that the CivPop Festival is taking place at the former RAF Lyneham.
