SWINDON-BASED The Carto Group - a geospatial technology company helping to map the Earth - has appointed two new experts to its team.

Nicholas Duggan, a chartered geographer with the Royal Geographical Society who has more than 15 years experience in GIS, data management and geospatial innovation, has consulted and provided work for most industry sectors such as offshore and onshore renewables, environmental, maritime archaeology, offshore and onshore survey, land management, public rights of way and shipping.

Nicholas has been joined at the town centre firm by Shaun Landy, who has recently completed his MSc at University of the West of England in Bristol, and is taking up a role as a gaming technology developer. Shaun will be working with TCG to deliver business critical geospatial augmented reality (AR) services to multiple industry and consumer sectors.
