Tickets are now on sale to share an evening in Swindon with Benedict Allen, the TV explorer and adventurer. Benedict was in the news During a solo expedition to Papua New Guinea to visit a community he had befriended 30 years earlier, he disappeared en route. He failed to turn up at Port Moresby for a scheduled flight to Hong Kong, everyone became concerned. He and had no mobile phone or GPS. He was finally found by helicopter in a tribal warzone , battling malaria and dengue fever. He will be showing clips from this adventure during his show in Swindon. and the full film will be released later this year. Benedict said: This is a hugely exciting venture for me: I can’t wait to travel the UK and, share my experiences of some of the most testing, but also wonderfully inspiring, corners of the globe.’’ .
