A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a crash late on Sunday night.
Wiltshire Police is appealing for any drivers who saw the smash at 10pm on Sunday, September 2.
The force said a 38-year-old Swindon man was riding a green Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle at Transfer Bridges Roundabout, near the County Ground.
A spokeswoman added: "He was travelling in the direction of Cirencester Way but appears to have lost control and collided with kerb and then a traffic light.
"Sadly, he sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. His family have been informed but formal identification has not yet been completed. Our thoughts are with his family and friends."
The road was closed by crash investigators for around six hours.
