A WELL-known DJ fears someone is targeting him after a brick was thrown through his window.

The attack follows two nights when eggs were thrown at Ron Inglis' house.

Now the DJ, known as Ron Travolta, is keen to find out if someone has it in for him.

He said: "I don't know if I forgot to play someone's request but I just want to know what's going on.

"If someone has got it in for me, I would rather they knocked on my door and told me.

"I want to know what I've done."

The police were called after the brick was hurled through Ron's lounge window at about 3.30am on Tuesday.

They have described it as a mindless act and are keen to hear from anyone with information.

Ron, 50, who lives with his 12-year-old son Chris in Salisbury Street, Swindon, believes the attack may be a case of mistaken identity.

"A couple of weeks ago my house was egged, then it happened again a couple of nights ago," he said.

"Either I have upset someone or they are picking on the wrong house, thinking someone else lives here.

"Getting egged is bad enough but a brick is a little more scary."

It was Ron's son who discovered the brick, which had flown through the window and curtains and landed 6ft into his front room.

Ron, who DJs at town centre bars and clubs Reflex, O'Neill's and Big Fish at weekends, said: "I heard it happen and I actually put some jeans on and went outside because I thought it was a car crash it was so loud. I didn't see anything so I went back to bed.

"My son came down and found it in the morning. With a kid in the house it is a little bit scary.

"It's a concern because I have to get babysitters in when I'm at work.

"I'm worried that something could happen when I'm not here."

Ron has been a DJ in the town for more than 30 years, working in pubs and clubs including Pasha's, Vadims, the Zu Bar, Po Na Na and Yates's.

Acting Insp Adrian Davis, of Swindon police, said: "Obviously we take this sort of thing very seriously.

"It's an unprovoked attack and it's totally mindless to attack somebody's address by throwing a brick through the window."
