Entrepreneurs from across South West England will have their creative problem solving and team working challenged at the launch of this year's Enterprise Week.

Running between next Monday and the following Sunday, Enterprise Week is an annual UK-wide week of activities and events, aimed at inspiring young people to have ideas and make them happen. With hundreds of events and activities scheduled across the region, the campaign aims to provide tomorrow's business leaders with all the support and advice they need to start putting their enterprising ideas into practice.

"Central to the concept of enterprise is having ideas and making them happen and South West England is home to many people who have the right attitudes, skills and know-how to do this," said Rosemary Wells at the South West RDA. "Enterprise Week is crucial in nurturing enterprising behaviour and fostering enterprise in an innovative way. This year's campaign provides an excellent opportunity to celebrate our successes and further fuel the dynamic enterprise culture in the South West."

Designed specifically to foster teamwork, kick-start imaginations and unleash creativity for developing money-making ideas, the Challenge is run by the national Make Your Mark campaign, with support from the South West of England Regional Development Agency.

The week will be centred around themed days, starting with the Make Your Mark' challenge and followed by the Ideas at Work' day, Women's Enterprise' day, Social Enterprise' day, before finishing with the Make your Mark at Work' day on the Friday.
