THE Advertiser offices have been the latest premises to be targeted by mindless vandals.

The men, who were walking down Victoria Road on Thursday evening, smashed the front door breaking the locks.

The three men were caught on CCTV, pictured right, as they walked past the front entrance.

One of the men tried to push into the doors with his shoulder.

When they did not open he repeatedly kicked the doors while his friends looked on.

The three men then continued on their way.

A security guard at the office heard the commotion, but the vandals had gone by the time he reached the front entrance.

The police were called and the footage of the men will be used to track down the people responsible.

The first man, who kicked the doors, was white, aged between 20 and 30 with dark spiky hair.

He was wearing a dark coloured jacket and dark jeans.

His two accomplices were also caught on the security video.

The second man was also white and in his 20s with short spiked hair. He was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and jeans. He had a dark sweater tied around his waist.

The third man had dark or tanned skin and was also in his 20s. He had short dark hair and was wearing jeans and a light coloured hooded sweater.

Anyone who recognises the descriptions of the three men should contact Swindon police on 0845 408 7000 or the Advertiser newsroom on 01793 501802.
