Hundreds visited Lydiard Park to visit the Wiltshire Steam and Vintage Rally and to catch a glimpse of another special visitor.

A Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Supermarine Spitfire flew over the West Swindon park in the afternoon, much to the delight of everyone there.

One member of the public, Chris Kitson, got a great picture and video which he kindly sent into the Adver.

But for those who missed their chance to see the iconic aircraft in action on Saturday, the Steam and Vintage Rally is continuing today (Sunday) and there'll be another public flight.
