A DRIVER was killed in a collision on the B3107 in Melksham.
The crash between a white Citroen AX and a red Ford Fiesta occurred at about 9pm on Wednesday.
The two cars collided approximately 200 metres south of the Countrywide roundabout on the Bradford Road.
The driver of the Citroen died at the scene, while his passenger was taken to hospital with chest injuries.
The occupants of the other car were not seriously injured.
Police have said that all the people involved were from the Trowbridge area.
They are appealing for witnesses, particularly anyone who saw the Citroen and a white Vauxhall Corsa on the A350 just prior to the collision.
