Tom Cruise delighted a five-year-old Wiltshire lad who queued for hours to meet him ahead of the premiere of new Mission: Impossible movie.
Marley Jackson, five, was on holiday with his family and wore his aviator sunglasses and Top Gun t-shirt, with hopes of meeting his favourite actor, on Sunday.
Cruise emerged from the Hassler Hotel in Rome ahead of the premier of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, and spotted Marley.
After waving to other fans he made a beeline for the boy and signed his shirt.
Dad Carl Jackson, 43, from Swindon, said: "He focused on us more than once and took an instant shine to Marley for his shirt - and maybe his aviators!
"It’s been the highlight of our trip."
