A hair and beauty salon is celebrating its tenth anniversary by giving back to customers.

Cloudnine Hair and Beauty Ltd was opened on July 1, 2013, by Emma Bills and has stayed open for ten years, weathering Covid lockdowns and the cost of living crisis.

On the huge milestone for the business, the business owner said she wanted to mark the occasion by giving something back

"We were really keen to demonstrate our appreciation to our clients and the local community," Emma said.

In May the salon asked for friends and relatives to nominate loyal clients that have been with them for 10 years and on June 14, the lucky chosen 10 received a free makeover afternoon.

Emma said: "We were lucky enough to have clients ranging from 17-84.

"All of them enjoyed an evening of hair, nails and make-up treatments whilst enjoying a glass of prosecco and a few nibbles."

Emma was also keen to thank her staff, some of which had been there from day one with her, who also made things possible and gave up their time free of charge for the anniversary makeovers.

On July 1, the salon will be opening in the evening for a further celebration where the ten recipients of the free makeover and others have been invited to look at photos and 'join them for some celebratory bubbly'.
