The new destination of one of Swindon Designer Outlet’s mainstay shops has been revealed.

Closing down signs have been displayed in the windows of the McArthurGlen retail village's Mountain Warehouse store since June.

The signs have also advertised that all products inside the shop must go with the store expecting to close soon.

Yet although the shutters are set to come down, the outdoor clothes and equipment retailer will not be leaving the Outlet.

Mountain Warehouse, which sells equipment for hiking, camping, skiing, cycling, running and fitness, will move into a new unit in the building.

This move is prompted by space as the shop will reopen in a larger unit than it occupies at the moment, offering more space for stock and supplies.

The brand will not have far to move either as the new unit is opposite its current store with advertising for the shop appearing on hoardings covering the location.

Mountain Warehouse’s new home is the former spot of sportswear shop Puma which recently moved into a different unit nearby itself.

Despite the new hoardings and closing down signs, no exact date for this relaunch is not yet known.
