Swindon is preparing for Christmas and one of the town’s tourist hotspots has already begun the festivities.

The McArthurGlen Designer Outlet on Kemble Drive has started to put up its seasonal decorations throughout the Rodbourne building.

Customers are now initially greeted with a large sign equipped with a large red bow which spells out "Joy" and illuminates at night.

There are also giant wreaths hanging on the façade of the outdoor restaurants Pizza Express and Wagamama.

Elsewhere outside there are also branches of Christmas foliage bedecked with baubles that are hanging over the building’s arches.

Moving on inside and there are bright lights hanging from the ceiling and guiding the way on each of the Outlet’s corridors.

These also have clumps of red baubles attached ensuring all bases are covered by the retail destination in creating the Christmas feel.

Wreaths are hanging from the roof too while the train inside of the Outlet also has all of the above wrapped around it.

The Outlet has also seen several store changes recently with Mountain Warehouse set to move to a bigger unit opposite the current location which was home to Puma until recently.

Puma itself moved into a bigger unit around the corner, replacing Jack Wills, which in turn relocated to a shop opposite its former home.
