The UK’s largest outdoor cinema is returning to Wiltshire and will screen films at two historic locations.

Adventure Cinema will be screening three movies at Bowood House and Gardens, near Calne, on the weekend of Friday, July 26.

This comes as part of a nationwide tour, including 260 screenings and 65 different venues across the UK.

The organisers of the open-air cinema events promise to give customers a “unique and enchanting” experience.

This year’s offering will see screenings of Top Gun (July 26), Mamma Mia (July 27), and Pretty Woman (July 28).

Elsewhere in Wiltshire, Salisbury Cathedral will host showings of Back to the Future, Grease, Top Gun, and Bridget Jones’ Diary between August 29 and September 1.

Ben Lovell, co-director at Adventure Cinema, said: “We are thrilled to announce our sixth summer season of Adventure Cinema, with new iconic locations including Cornwall’s Eden Project, which is very special.

“This season’s selection of films promises something for everyone, from the old-school classics, which our fans always love, to newer releases, family favourites and more.

“We can’t wait to bring everyone together for another season in the great British outdoors.”

Tickets are now available from £9.50.
