Police are appealing for help after the theft of a disabled person's bike.

Officers are trying to locate the stolen two-wheeler and return it to its rightful owner.

A thief took the Merida eSpresso while it was parked outside the Greenbridge Retail Park branch of Matalan between 2.30pm and 3.45pm on Saturday, April 6.

The bike has a specially adapted concertina saddle for the owner who is disabled and relies on it for transportation.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "If you have seen the bike or have any information that could help with our investigation, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54240039105.

"Alternatively, call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
