A FAMILY of dog lovers from Gloucestershire are stepping up their campaign to find a labrador that went missing back in September.

Lady, a seven-year-old black labrador with a little grey at her muzzle, went missing in the Brimpsfield/Birdlip area, but Harriet Saunders, her owner, is now stepping up the search by expanding it into neighbouring counties, including Wiltshire, offering a “substantial reward”.

“Judy is a wonderful character and very much in the centre of our family,” said Harriet. “She was constantly with us as part of the daily routine. “Our three little girls (aged six, four and two), in particular, are missing her tremendously, and are having nightmares about her disappearance.“ Lady went missing on September 3, in a week in which there was heavy rain, and Harriet believes she may have been picked up from the rural area by someone believing her to be lost.

She was wearing a black leather collar with an ID tag and is micro-chipped.

If you have seen her, phone Harriet on 07831 664616, or if you have confidential information, call DogLost on 0844 800 3220, quoting 14917.
